Refer a friend
The most useful thing you can do for Stake City is bring in someone you know. Send them your link, and when they sign up through it they are counted as yours. There is nothing for them to type in.

Is there a reward?
Not yet. Nothing is paid for a referral today. We are working out the right way to thank the people who help, and if anyone tells you there is a reward before it appears on this page, it is not true.
What we can say is that every signup through your link is on record against your name, and that record is what a reward would be built on.
Where you can share it
Keep it inside Torn's rules. A referral is not worth your account. Torn does not allow players to advertise a site they do not run:
"Torn related advertising should only be made, promoted, or bumped by the one providing the product or service, in the appropriate area."- Do give it to people you already know who ask about the site — a friend, a faction mate.
- Do not post it in any public chat, on the forums, or in a forum signature.
- Do not send it to anyone who has not asked. Unsolicited Torn mail is spam, whoever sends it.
How a referral counts
- Your link is remembered in the browser it is opened in, so your friend can look around first and sign up later — as long as they sign up on that same browser.
- It counts when they create their account. Somebody who already has an account here cannot be referred afterwards.
- Your own ID does not count, and neither does a second account of yours. One account per Torn account is rule 7.
- You see a count, never a list of names. A link can travel further than the friend you sent it to, and who else has an account here is not ours to tell you.
